Re using onboard VGA?

Ive taken out an AGP graphics card that has gone into another machine. How do i install/re setup on board VGA? When it boots the screen is just a mess of whites and blacks (Right from power on). Can i reset the CMOS settings on mother board via the jumper switch and re set up the bios??????
