I came across the question in another forum of whether or not you can run a 8800gts 640 and 8800gts 512 in sli but given they are two different processors I'd presume that you can't.

But someone wrote in response that the 780 chip will allow you to do this
    Has anyone heard about this?

I'm presuming its bull but it came up when i searched it on google that it can be done but nvidia mightn't be bothered doing it cause it would involve lots of driver tweaking
