The Swedish cup is on at the mo'. They've got a fully live scoring system. You can watch the shots go in in realtime on the web. It's something else! Both AR and AP live right now.

That's so cool! Still, you'd want to be fairly sad to sit there watching it.

Well, considering I'm back to work two days, and am dying already, this counts as a major distraction. Yes work can be that boring!

No different to someone watching Darts, Bowls, golf. A slow moving game fair enough, but certainly not boring!

I'm with Kryten on this one. Target shooting might not be BASE jumping or extreme speed-dating (never tried it!) but some of us find entertainment in it. I found it interesting, especially in the pistol where you have guys shooting 10,10,10,10 and then they throw a 7, fall apart for a few shots and get back on the bus. Makes me realise that these high level shooters mess up too. Gives me some confidence to know it's not just me throwing those flyers. As for the rifle shooters, well they're just freaks and never mess up...(watched a 597 yesterday)

I watched the Junior Women final, the winner had shot a 399/400 then followed it up with a nice 102.3 ton for the final to end with a score of 502.3. To put this into perspective, the Gold, Silver and Bronze scores in Athens were: 502.0, 501.5, 501.1. Very impressive performance for anyone, but a Junior?

I have just read this months issue if Front Sight, the USPSA/IPSC magazine, that covers the US Production Division Nationals.

Dave Sevegeny (shooting Glock 17 and including a MISS on the last stage))beat Max Michel(Army) by .014 points(1767.5842 to 1767.4430 i.e 0.1412 points) which equates to 0.00008 of a % or 8 one hundred thousands of a per cent.

    Is that close or what?
