Have read the books and doing the study from online sites but looking for more advice from you guys. Any help would be appreciated

I'm not going to offer you any poker advice, but I can tell you that unless you use the Betfair gambling exchange, building up raked hands(ie: Frequent Player Points) on Betfair is absolutely useless. No freerolls, no rake back, no T-shirts/Mugs/Porsches!!(like Stars).

As far as I've discovered on Betfair, all you'll get is a small discount on your commision on the exchange.

Sliotar if you look up betfair poker and rakeback in google youll get bamboozled with offers.
Or else try raketherake very good crowd up to 37%rake back and up to 1000 sign up bonus.

If your already signed up you might struggle to get rakeback. The software is **** and the traffic wasnt the best either. th standard of play is pretty shocking though.

Rakeback is standard on Betfair. AFAIK everybody gets it as a credit to their account at the end of the month. Have a look in your account for a credit around the turn of the month. I'm not sure of the calculation but it is less than the percentages you can get from FT PS etc.
The cash games are reasonably soft (.5/1 - 2.5/5 is all i've tried) but not very liquid you'll need to be able to spot the ubernits who are a large part of the player base from the Lags playing their sportsbook. You cannot datamine but PT works ok once you have the latest patches installed.
There are a couple of guaranteed tourneys that can have a small overlay on quiet days the standard of play is probably a bit higher in tournaments than the ring games.
Betfair left crypto over a year ago and took over pokerchamps which they now run themselves. The software is a lot more reliable than it was initially however it remains IMO the most awful interface in the business.

I've never gotten a penny rake back in over 2 years using (sporadically) Betfair.

Maybe there are some minimum hands played requirement - they are very vague about the whole thing. There is no mention of it anywhere on the website and while I used to get an email everymonth saying your rakeback for the month was x now I don't even get that anymore - just a credit to my account.

I asked them about rb on existing accounts a couple of months ago.

I was told generating > £100/month of rake gets you 25% rb, and the top tier was 32% for > £2k rake/month.

you can get RB for betfair from a number of sites, raketherake etc. also if you email betfair directly and ask about it they will give you rakeback themselves directly i think at 30pc.
i always play on BF but get rake from LTD. its probably the best site for multi tabling.
