    Im looking to partition my HD. Vista / XP / Linux.

    Id stick with Vista which I paid for, but I just cant run enough stuff. I JUST CANT ! ! !

    So my mate ordered a VERY good gaming lappy that comes with Vista and he want to partition it when he gets it.

    Im willing to pay for XP after paying for Vista if it will let me play the games Ive gotten off Steam and refuse to work.

    As always, I appreciate all advice:D

    Maybe just sell vista and go with an XP / Linux dual boot?

    Steam games should run in linux through wine.
