Firewire port for a laptop

    Hi,

I am hoping that somebody might be able to advise me... A friend of mine wants to have a Firewire port added to their laptop (Dell Inspiron 1500)... Is there an inexpensive firewire card that somebody can recommend? I'm not sure which cards are suitable or compatible with his laptop. They need a firewire port to be able to download home movies to their laptop and then make DVDs.

    Thanks!
