42" Matsui for €688.28

Back home and happy with a 42" Matsui from Currys in Newry, complete with guarantee that covers us in the south. Well worth the 50 minute drive.

Fair play man, whats the quality like?? i used to work for dixons years ago matsui wasnt great but getting there.

one HDMI, no PC input. Sounds fairly basic but best of luck with it still a great price!

Sorry folks just back at 'puter.

The model is: MATSUI 42LW507(LCD).

The picture quality is great - obviously not as sharp as the Samsung
which we had originally gone up for (retailing at £479.00 but out of stock for about 3 or 4 weeks); but nothing to sneeze at either.

It does have PC input - I asked as I needed to hook up every so often.

The 1 year warranty covers its technicians to hot foot it to our front door; and I will buy the extended warranty in a couple of weeks - I think it was about £120 or so for 5 years.

Hi Wildsaffy ,What was the sterling price you paid for this telly ,Its showing up as £550 on the currys website which equates to about €740 .Was there a sale on it .

The sterling price was £499.00. It had a "sale" tag on it in the store.
