You can share the Internet connection over ethernet, and allow connections via Airport?

    Does that work?

As far as I know, you cannot share the airport in and out, ie. as a router and a bridge, if you know what I mean.

    Yeah as above really..

choose 'system preferences/sharing/internet sharing/share your connection from (which ever way your wired modem comes in..prob ethernet, possibly usb)/to computers using airport.
You may have to try it unsecured first (no encryption enabled). Then once you know everything is ok change to encryption enabled.

    Hi Guys,

I have a similar question. I have just set up a new network on my iMac and my iPhone detected it no bother. Everything works bar YouTube (which does work if I use Edge when I go wi-fi). Anybody got any ideas?

Also, does it mean that when I choose my own network from the iMac to surf the net using the iPhone around the house that I will not incur any costs, as opposed to using Edge, which I'm told is very expensive?

    Thanks.
