Remote Extender for NTL

I've got NTL digital and ideally we'd like to be able to control the Pace box from two TVs. There's one room in the house where the cable comes in, and then it splits there and one runs down to the sitting room, the other runs to the bedroom. Right now the digital box is downstairs in the sitting room.

What I would really like to do is put the Pace box in the central room where the cable comes in, and then control this box remotely from the sitting room or the bedroom. I'm not worried about sending the video, as this can all by done through the RF cables that are there already... what I'm trying to find is some sort of remote extender so that we can switch channels from both locations, and then it will relay the infrared signal to the central room... does anyone know if such a product exists? I've been looking around and can't seem to find anything that has two transmitters and one receiver.

Did you mean one trasnmitter and two receivers ?

Basically what you need is a video sender, loads of discussion on them here and even more over on the satelitte forum.

Haven't seen them with 2 receivers, but if you get a standard one (one transmitter, one receiver) you can pick up a second receiver in somewhere like maplins.

btw, the ntl stb doesnt output digital over the rf cable...
