Sony 32D3000 / 40D3000 - any sales deals about?

Has anyone spotted any decent bargains on either the Sony KDL32D3000 or KDL40D3000 (Dublin bricks and mortar shops)? Ideally I'm looking for a 32D below a grand, or a deal with a blu-ray player.

    cheers!

I'm looking for the same myself, but it seems as though everywhere that I've contacted about the 32" is out of stock or else it is still €1149. The sales guy in the Sony Centre in Dundrum actually told me that it was discontinued and they are expecting a new model next week, but I don't know if this is true or not.

The 40" has been discontinued, and the 40D3500 is it's replacement of sorts, but the 32" hasn't.

I'm sure some retailer has the 32" at the right price. It was available below the grand mark in some pre-christmas sales/promos - I just figured there would be better prices come the Jan sales.

Thanks for that, I was only quoting what the sales guy in the Sony Centre told me. If you find the 32" anywhere then please let me know.

    Thanks

    Any reason you're looking for a 32D3000 over other models, e.g 32T3000 or 32S3000?

Best of the bunch for my needs (primarily SD Sky, DVD and XBMC stuff - blue ray and freesat HD to come) - 24fps, flexible 100Hz processing/Motionflow options, 10 bit panel, inoffensive casing design.

Fair enough - there's some sale items for the S3000 and my other half picked up the T3000 but I know that's only 50Hz not 100Hz.

I bought same telly from them about 3 months ago. Great price and great service. Delivery was less than 2 days. I ordered about 6pm on Tue and it was delivered at 3pm Thu
