    Hi all,
Know this has probably been asked before however do Irish citizens require a visa to travel on holidays to Oz - if so what is the process for applying?

    Thanks!

Your travel agent, for a small fee, should be able to arrange your ETA (electronic travel authority) which will entitle you to travel for tourism purposes.

Thanks Mike, I've done some research now and the cheapest option seems to be to get it directly from the australian immigration dept - don't suppose you've used this service?!

I used a bucket shop to get my flights and they sorted the ETA for me, I think they charged £15 at the time....
