Hi going to cave in and get myself one of those new fangled MP3/MP4 yokes for downloading and playing of a fairly limited music collection 100 CD's or so, any advice on cheapness and spec would be appreciated.

That 5Gb player recommended by Zod seems decent... nice price with good 5Gb capacity.

I was only going to mention this 512Mb basic player, which is Gb£12.50 ex delivery.

depends exactly what your looking for. I mean if you want to play videos and clips and are willing to spend money mp4 it is. if not steer clear it will be useless to you. if your just looking for something to play your cd collection just go with a small 1gb mp3. they cost less than 100 quid and play about 250 songs. you can get them anywhere, the little creative ones are quite good cause they have the little screen so you can see what song it is. thats what i have somewhere around here but the boyfriend got me an mp4 for christmas so the old one has disappeared lol. or you can go with the ishuffle which is about 80 quid and you can get them anywhere i think even in xtravision. but they have no screen.... go into dixons or a place like that and theyll have all the sony ones and other brand names that you can look at....

careful with them internet sites though... stuff coming from abroad can end up being more hassle den der worth!! eg. plug converters etc
