I got a 32" Mirai LCD in Tesco the other day for €499. I think you can get 30% back aswell in tesco vouchers. Im very happy with it so far. Decent picture quality.

Pants - missed the Tesco 30% offer - I phoned and they said it finished yesterday.

But thanks a mill for your quick reply, Marooned.

Got a price of €575 on a 32" Samsung in Dixons in Newry - might sling my a*se up there this afternoon - does anyone know if there is any problems with buying in the North? It's only an hour's drive from here, same time it would take me to get to Blanchardstown.

    Thanks,
    wildsaffy:rolleyes:

Back home and happy with a 42" Matsui from Currys in Newry for €688.28, complete with guarantee that covers us in the south. Well worth the 50 minute drive. :D

I was just comparing the prices in the Currys sale handout and those on the UK website and there are indeed savings to be made by travelling north.
    Especially with the strong Euro.
