    As an example...

    Christy Moore's "North and South of the River" reminds me of the sudden division there is in place in Dublin due to the Westlink Toll Bridge on the M50. References to "walking with you along an unapproved road" confirm this. Nobody approves of the M50 in its current state.

    I guess that my interpretation is that there are 2 star-crossed lovers, who are also cheapskates. One lives in Palmerstown, the other in Blanch.

    "Curse that wretched Bridge", they cry!
