Hey, I had an interview with them a while ago.

I didn't get the job though.

They asked me about when I could work. Actually, most of the interview was them documenting my daily life to see what hours I could work.

First, there is a group interview.

This will be all the candidates, the area manager (mine was a nice galwegian girl) and the store manager. You will each talk in turn.

Then everyone is brought in seperatly, and the area manager interviews you. It's quite professional. Use the usual indicators, give eye contact etc. And do tell them that you have applied for jobs like this before. Thats pretty important.

Have heard a lot about the corresponding position in Lidl.

Hours are meant to be mental, and the work very demanding/high pressured.

However the remuneration is also pretty good so pro's and con's as with everything

This is probably obvious, but if possible wear a nice suit (not a cheap one) with nice shoes (leather soles) and make sure your hair and skin are perfect, with nice minty breath to polish it off! Worst case scenario it'll make you stand out from the group.

Is this for the graduate position? A friend of mine was offered this last year for Lidl and lasted about 12 months before quitting. The workload and the amount of travelling involved was just too much. Having said that, she says she learned lots but was tired of it after a year.

    Sounds a bit exaggerated no?
Mainly Chinese and Eastern European fellas working here. Must be for a reason.

I may be wrong, just a personal feeling :-)
