    1st time to post in the poker section but have to have a rant. Was really looking forward to the 30k bulging sack tourney tonight. Played in a couple of tourneys over the Xmas to automatically qualify for the big one tonight. Waiting for the tourney to start tonight and at about 8.05 called manager coz tourney should have started at 8. Was told tourney had started. Asked why i wasn't registered was told ' I don't know'. They checked to see I did play enough of the daily tourneys to qualify for registration and confirmed I should have been registered, but can't tell me why i wasn't. Really pissed off because I was looking forward to this. Has this happened to anyone else?

    The reason for this is that you were eligible to play in the tournament but you still had to register yourself. It clearly states this on the paddypower website:

    Starting on December 21st until January 1st 2007 we have a series of $5 Rebuy tournaments where you will have the chance to earn some extra $$$ for the festive period. If you play in 2 or more of these nightly rebuy tournaments you will be eligible to play in our huge New Year Freeroll worth an amazing $30K!

    good luck Kev, went out about 110 totally card dead all night except for AA no pay off & 10 10 my exit hand to JJ
