Is Sony Bravia 32" KDL-32T3000 worth getting?

Thinking of getting the KDL-32T3000 32" Sony Bravia - there's some tech specs here on Komplett.

Now before today I knew next to nothing about HDTV, but I've been trying to bone up by reading around on a few places (avforums, etc) and from what I can tell these are good specifications for a 32". It looks like it should show smooth sharp pictures and the fact that it displays 1080i and not 1080p shouldn't be an issue on a 32" screen.

Primary use currently will be for gaming on a PS2 with plans, at some point, to probably get a next-gen console PS3. I don't believe (from what I can read) that there would be much difference with 1080p vs 1080i on a 32" display for gaming , especially if games aren't taking advantage over these resolutions. There's no immediate plans to use it for Blu-Ray/HD-DVD discs either (no player) and we won't be subscribing to Sky's HDTV service in the near future.

So does anyone have any input on this model? Reviews are very scarce, although it appears to be a cosmetic upgrade to some of the other models. Are the Bravia x3000 series a good buy?

Probably decent. However, quite a few would argue that with Sony you pay an extra couple of hundred just becasue of the Sony badge - quite a few of the parts on anything below their X series TVs are sourced from SLCD, their partnership wiith Samsung.

X series TVs are generally well regarded... but again you're paying extra becasue of the Sony badge.
