NTFS is not supported by the 360. It needs to be FAT 32

by the way, you will need some third party tool like partition magic to format from ntfs to fat32.

Does Partition Magic format without losing data?

Got it working. Anyone have a similar problem do the following.
I had to format the External Hard drive to HFS+ format. It is described well in this tutorial, luckily the hdd that this tutorial used is the exact same as mine. But I'm sure its the same with all.
Now to copy back all my videos to my hdd so I can use them on the 360!! Yips!

    Any problems PM me.

HFS+? That's random, it's the Apple File Format...

It doesn't have the limitations of FAT 32, like filesize and disk size limit. Odd that the 360 can use it though...
