Are there any sources of information out there on repairing/replacing car antennas? I want to remove the stump of an antenna on an opel astra and finding it hard to get info on it.
    Thanks

Are you talking about the bee sting type over the rear window? If so what do you intent to take it's place?

You could add an internal window aerial from Halfords or similar retail outlet. They come with 5m aerial lead and if this is not long enough, extension leads are available.

Its an old model 98 and it had one of those stupid extendable antennas on the back left corner of the car. I want to put a proper antenna in.
