A buyer requires this to do business. Can you confirm this in Ireland though or is it just the US that you can do this in.

I have tried doing it but there does not seem to be any link I can click or anything to say "Confirm this address"

You can VERIFY an address in Ireland but not CONFIRM it unfortunately.

Hmmm I was thinking that alright. What a pain!

Yep the confirmed address feature is not available to Irish account holders, a pain in the backside at times. Just make a note when buying from some eBay sellers you let them know.

Aye, depends on the seller alright, some US sellers may or may not be sticky about a buyer being confirmed or not.

Why does it matter to the seller whether the address is confirmed or not?

Well Paypal take your big cut from the money the seller receives but offer no protection should the buyer attempt to fraud the seller or for non-delivery.

I do not send to un-confirmed addresses unless the buyer has very good feedback

    My ebay pseudo is 'conman..alert'

There is no such pseudo in ebay , I was not joking or trying to scam someone, I'm ready to give a copy of my passport that contains two Nationalities = The first one is Moroccan and the second one is Emirates, and the first one that creates me this problem of buying on ebay, because I can't fund a Moroccan paypal account, and neither confirm its address, so now I have an Emirates paypal account but it can't also confirm its address, but I want my shipping address to be my ebay's one, and thanks god when I submitted that first post here, I made at the same time a trade at ebay without a problem and its been shipped to my Moroccan address, but I still want to deal with other sellers, I have intentions to do longterm business on ebay .
