    Ahoy,

I've got a Sony VAIO VGN-FS315E, it's about 2 years old and in good nick but I've managed to reef off two of the keys one the keyboard (ctrl and alt) does anyone know if there's somewhere I can get new ones, or if they can be ordered off the internet?

I'd prefer not to have to send the laptop in somewhere if at all possible cos I'd probably be charged an extortionate amount of money to have literally two keys popped back on the keyboard and I'd be without my laptop for about a week. Any ideas?

    Thanks guys!

If it's just the keys, you could try VAIO e-Support. They might give them+hinges for free, depending on what their policy is these days. Worth a shot.

Got them off the eBay guy. Here's hoping I just don't break them when I'm putting them on!

    Thanks guys!

Did you just pay 10-15 euro for a key?!
Seriously, you should have tried e-support. When I worked for them they started giving them out for free.

Saw this thread too late, I know that Fujitsu Siemens and Sony will send you replacement keys for free if you contact them using their online support services.

I tried the online service and was told that the computer was too old and couldn't get the keys. I spent 10e for 4 keys (down arrow and + are kinda wobbly so I thought I'd grab one of those too)

Ah, at least you tried. When I tried Sony for new keys they were for my 13 month old TX Vaio.
