As far as I know Play.com don't deliver electronics(i.e. laptops, MP3 players, gadgets, etc.) to Irish addresses so you might want to try Komplett.ie.

The Fujitsu Siemens one looks ok, though I'm not too sure about the graphics card. And I wouldn't reccommend Vista for gaming.

Has anyone ordered laptops from either play or laptopsdirect before?

    Do a search, please.

Also check out some of the threads on Vostros - you won't beat them for price.

I have to agree with checking out the vostros as well. Make sure to get something with at least an nVidia 8400 or ati 2400 graphics card.

Also check out elara, they have a huge range and are generally pretty good for prices. Last time I checked komplett didn't have that big a range of laptops.
