    Hi,
    Doing java in college and lecturer is terrible, the notes are also terrible can anyone recommend a good book for java?

    The one we have for college is Java Concepts by Cay Horstmann and it's pretty good.

    Java How To Program from Deitel & Deitel. Thats a big one, if you want something smaller I liked Java Concepts thats mentioned above.

    Schaums ouline the red yellow books( only about 17 yoyos) are good, but the best is the sun site ,
