COD4 Online Problems

Has anyone else found it hard to connect to a game on the ps3 version. I managed it once and it was searching for 10 mins or so and i havent been able to play since. any other games work perfect.

it is an ongoing problem with the game and there is a patch for the us version but not for europe yet , thats ment to be some time in the new year.

until then unless you imported the us version in you have to wait until the patch sorts out the conection issues.

make sure ya have ports 3074 3075 udp opened and it should be ok

Difference is you can be waiting ages for the other modes while in sabotage it connects quite fast for me everytime

The patch fixes the waiting time to join games but the amount of Game Lobby Closed and Host Ended game messages is ridiculous. I get either one after at least 2 games. I wish the find servers had custom search settings to be able to specify a map to choose or some other game settings because what happens if after you get booted from one closed lobby and go searching for another you can end up in another lobby about to play the same map over again.

thers another patch coming out after that one with new maps and it'll fix the lobby issues aswell
