Has anyone any experience of working for this company? Are they good payers? Do they treat their employees well?

    Thanks,

i cant say what it is like to actually work for them but i can say that the view the rest of the industry holds of quinn directs business in general is that it is absolutely diabolical if you dont particularly care about that then ill leave it to current/ex employees to fill you in on what you actually asked

I worked in their IT department for 6 months (work placement) and loved it. It's a very tight company though, not as relaxed or as many perks as other companies but I still enjoyed it. Might differ in other departments though.

PeakOutput: QDI are still the insurer of last resort for a lot of people and you do get what you pay for but they changed a lot in the insurance industry, not just prices but general practices. They also managed to steal an awful lot of customers in their first few years so if you think attitudes of other insurance companies are merely pius love for their customers, you're a little naieve.

A mate of mine works in their office in Blanch, says he loves the place, good bonuses and perks.

i didnt mean the director of one company bitching in public about qd i mean that i have never had a good experience when i have had to deal with them(this would have to do with claims) over the phone. i know at least 3 people who moved to the company i used to work for from qd and found it so much better in that they "actually got to help the customer" and also the other perks of general employment.

i can only speak from a claims point of view but their business practices leave alot to be desired. if people enjoy working there thats not a slight on them in anyway they are just doing their job by doing what they are told

I worked there almost 3 years for summer and weekend work during college. I was in the telesales department and to be honest, it was like being in school at times. The team leads were generally quite poor and the staff turnaround was high. In fairness, we were the lowest of the low in there so I'm not sure what career jobs are like there. It was a means to an end but still probably better than most college jobs.

I still have several friends working in different departments there and some of them like it and others don't. One thing I've noticed is that people in IT department there seem to be happier than most for some reason.
