Does anyone know if I can charge it? It is powered by battery but I was under the impression that putting it into the laptop would charge it..like my ipod....the battery makes it sort of awkward.

Well if its the one i was thinking of, like a USB, works ona AAA battery - it wont charge when you put it into your laptop. Only works on the AAA battery. I used to have one and it was a b*tch on batteries. Thankfully my bf gots me an ipod classic for xmas this year!!
