    Anyone............................

    Sorry for bumping.

Also Is it better to get a package that includes skis, boots, lessons, and lift pass, or should buy that when I get to my resort.

Poland is meant to be quite cheap, and my brother has given good reports.

As for package or not, package will cost a bit more, but organising everything yourself can be time consuming.

Err Id have to disagree on Poland, we wentto Zakopane last year and were quite dissappointed by the facilities-ie 4 runs and you had to buy passes everytime for the lifts instead of having a pass for the whole week.It was cheap though, each run cost e2.50.
If you want dirt cheap organising it yourself will always work out best.Only prob with this is that alot of the really cheap chalets/hostels dont have a big web presence and can be hard to contact. Though I can recomend Borovets in Bulgaria, 42km of runs will keep you well happy for the week.
This year we are off to Jasna in Slovakia, we paid a bargain e400 to http://www.propagandasnowboards.com/ for which we get transfers,6 day lift pass and a chalet that holds 13 beds, flights will cost around an extra 100-120, I havent bought them yet:-)
If you want rock bottom prices next season try boarderweek.com they have packages from e222 for a week but it happens in December-ideally suited to students-its a fab week with loads of live music thrown in but it does also carry the risk of **** snow being so early in the season.Still though Val Thorens is pretty high up so they should have some pow pow by mid-Dec, they had loads this year at least....
    Hope this helps

    www.crystalski.com and www.directski.com

If you go the right dates you will get cheap deals. I'm going to Mayrhofen for a week in Feb for 800quid (inc all ski equip)

Livignio is a good cheap resort; once you dont mind the long (4 hr) transfer. You'll pay more for resorts that have shorter transfer times, but if you dont mind it, its a good way to get a cheap deal. We stayed at the Ski Apartments - they're really nice. Accommodation in Italy is generally a much better standard than france.. Crystal is generally the cheapest operator, but would check out panorama, directski, etc as well.
What about andora, havent been myself, but again, its a long transfer time so id rather somewhere closer.
We also got a deal to les duex alpes, france last year for about 750 with crystal, all in. Apts werent great, but if you just want to eat and sleep, they're grand.
    Hope that helps.
PS wouldnt bother trying to do it yourself; it always ends up costing more!

Cheapest place to go for packages and your apres ski is Bulgaria. The Crystal link above will give you an idea of price.

Hi - we got good value for Livigno thro www.skimcneill.com

Another one to note is that both Andorra and Livigno are tax free therefore cheap as chips when you are there!
