roller shutter garage doors

    HELP NEEDED !! having installed a v. expensive insulated automatic roller shutter garage door its leaking through the apron slats, not at the bottom , just through slats , this happens when winds blow strongly. any suggestions please.

    contact who put them in, did you pick them out yourself?

    any chance there in upside down?

    Hi thanks for reply, yes i did contact company who sold door to me, no door is not in up side down , in fairness company are in touch and trying to sort it ,at this point i feeli will have to take door out and get a solid sheeted one ,manual and non insulated,.The site is very wind and facing sea, so last night was force 9 and raining ,am going out now to remove sand bags!!!.

    Should there be some flexible seals attached to the slats? are they positioned correctly?

    May not be a bad idea to construct a windbreak near the front of the door, after all you don't want open the door one windy day and see your roof take off ( I've seen it happen!).

    Will Look Into Slat Sealants, Have A Tiled Pitch Roof, Hope This Dosent Take Off!!good Idea About Wind Break. Thanks.
