I'm still one of those people with a CRT TV with an analogue tuner. I'm now looking to get an LCD TV, but am confused about "Tuner" capabilities. Will any LCD TV pick up an analogue signal from a set-top aerial or do they require external tuners? I have an old VCR with an analogue tuner, but dont want to have to use this…

I'm still one of those people with a CRT TV with an analogue tuner. I'm now looking to get an LCD TV, but am confused about "Tuner" capabilities. Will any LCD TV pick up an analogue signal from a set-top aerial or do they require external tuners? I have an old VCR with an analogue tuner, but dont want to have to use this if I can avoid it. I dont feel like shelling out just to watch RTE, although the wife likes Fair City!

If I went for an LCD with Digital Tuner, is there any digital terestrial signals out there to tune in to?
