    January 2009 maybe. :p

I think this is just left over footage from 2x12 plus some Zachary Quinto stuff they had to shoot in advance before he went to do Star Trek. I imagine it's all been scrapped now.

Yeah i came across this by accident on tv.com

    As i found this interesting:
According to TVGuide.com, the footage was taken from this season's episodes 12 and 13, the two that follow the conclusion of "Volume Two: Generations" and have yet to air due to complications from the strike.

    Whether it'll happen or not?

I was kidding. September of this year hopefully. But the way the strike is going right now... who knows.... I'm not optimistic.

intentional or not i reckon you're spot on with the 2009 thing. the strike is seemingly getting nowhere except for just pissing the lay person off.

Yeah, right now I think the main motivation to resolve the strike is to save the Oscars. And if that doesn't happen and they get screwed up like the Globes — then I can definitely see this dragging on into next season.

Well im sorry but i dont understand. If there is little or no work besides in canada i dont get it. Does everyone just have a rake load of money saved? should there not be some homeless or starving people at this stage (ok thats an exaderation)? months and months without pay?

The actors would have money stashed and so would writers but i mean people who would be in min wage, hollywood caterers ect. Anyone who helps the movie/TV business but is not payed a great wage.

So im sure several hundread people have lost there jobs by now because anyone who recruits actors agents or whatever, they have no work either right?

I think you're spot on there User4570123434566789. The strike affects the little man more than any of the big players involved from what i can tell, but no one gives a fudge about the little man because it doesn't make as good a story as some celeb drunkenly declaring support to the Writers guild when on a night out in LA or some such.

the networks could use it to their advantage too, by letting go long term workers and rehire on short term temporary contracts when ever it is finally over.

The little man is definitely suffering the most alright. Just this last week we've been hearing about pay cuts and layoffs at Warner Bros. But I do support the writers in all this. What they're asking for is in no way unreasonable, they should be demanding more if anything. Unfortunately writers are treated like **** in Hollywood. The WGA is not a strong union and after several more months of this they're likely to crack. It's all just a big power play for the studios, they won't do serious business with the writers until they've made a deal with the DGA and SAG.
