Dunno about elsewhere in the country, but it hasn't snowed (and stuck) in Dublin in what seems like years, just depressing rain and cold, when it snows being cold doesn't seem to matter, its just fun

I miss building snowmen and chucking snowballs at people.

Yeah it sucks. All of our seasons seem to have mushed into one. I'd much prefer proper cold winters with a couple of months of snow and genuinely hot summers. Somedays it can be difficult to identify what is December weather and what is June weather.

Remember 1999(or 1998), this date I believe, there was loads of snow, and my dad's car read -12C. That was the last decent snow I can recall...

Me too. The glare from snow makes me sick.

I was always taught to not like snow "the city comes to a standstill and daddy won't make any money for food!"

Wow, I was about to say the same thing (except the daughter bit).

I was home on UN leave from Lebanon then, and just at the same time the heating broke in my house :(

Dublin is a bit like London now, too warm and polluted. It makes my hair dirty quicker too, we need to clean up our air!
