Upgrade Question

Ok so I got my Wii connected to the internet and went ahead with the upgrades. The wireless reception in the room I have the Wii in is pretty poor but still usable. (I'm typing off the laptop from there at the minute) Anyways the update started and made slow progress but once the blue bar got to around 95% full it stopped completely. It's been like that for about an hour now. Is this normal? Is it the connection that's the problem? What should I do now?

This has happened to me a few times (sh1tty clearwire) and I've had to reset the Wii and redo the whole update.
