Where can you get tickets for Munsters matches in Thomand Park either Magners league matches or Heineken cup?

How much do they cost for the above?

Be a member of the supporters club, thats the easiest way. Either that or pay way above the odds for them(well for the cup games anyway)

how much is it to join the supporters club. Ive never been to thomand but would love to go out some day. Would there be tickets on sale outside the ground?

Are they nearly always sold out?

The only matches being played in Thomond Park this year are Heineken Cup matches. Unless Munster get a home QF then there is only one remaining match there this season (V Wasps Jan 19th.) and tickets will be like gold dust.

Magners League matches are currently being held in Musgrave Park, Cork and well worth the trip.

Thomond Park is due to re-open next year with a capacity of 26K and tickets for the bigger matches should be easier to get and thee should be no problem with buying at the gate for lesser matches.

BTW - TP may host an All Blacks V Munster and an International (Irel V Canada) in the autumn so keep you eyes open for tickets.

Ya its always handy if you have a mate who is a member of some club, clubs always get a fair allocation, get some of my tickets from Bruff rugby club

Calabula: you arent the same guy who was from belfast and was a member of 3 Ireland and used the mobiles/pda forum often

I think the fee for the supporters club is about 150e and the season ticket is about the same and covers just the home games of which there is ten approx. There is a waiting list for the supporters club and the next ones to get membership are those who already are associate members. However with Thomond Park having a much bigger capacity next season I guess the supporters club numbers will be increased.

I joined it this year. €30 for the year. Cant get any tickets for this year, but will be able to buy tieckets for next year. You also get 10% off anything in the Munster Rugby store, online or B&M.
