    Happy Stephen's Day everyone!:p

BTW: When did Boxing Day become Stephen's Day? It seems like one year everybody just stopped saying Boxing Day:(

I have zero recollection of calling it Boxing Day - ever.

Are you from a commonwealth country (or maybe watched a lot of british tv as a child)? It's traditionally been and always called st. stephens day here in this culturally catholic country. Boxing day was an old british tradition where the land lord would give boxed gifts to the serfs or something.

I (usually) silently get pissed off when Irish people say this. It's like saying "candy store" or "aluminum" or <insert random americanism here>. But I suppose I am really quite merry now, so can't really complain.
    Maerry Christmas!
Do you not have some teetotalin' shooting to do?

    Around 1922 I'd guess. :p

Had quite a fun filled day yesterday which ended up involving copious amounts of alcohol, so a belated Merry Christmas to ye all.

No, Irish born and Irish raised. Extremely nationalist family actually! I've always used the two interchangeably.

It should be renamed anyway to something more appropriate. Like 'Hangover Day'!

I wore my drinking socks on christmas day. They were socks that had a picture of beer on them, and the words "drinking socks".

I'm kinda worried by just how proud my father was.

I just couldn't get my drink on today. Children where talking to me, and you know thats never going to end well. I built an FM radio in and explained to my nephew why he should short circuit a power supply, repeatedly.
