    Basically had a last minute brainwave (edit - assumes presence of brain!) to put together a dvd for a pressie - can anyone tell me how i could piece together 20x 3 min clips into a vid? Maybe software i could download (vista OS). I'm useless!

    Have you tried Windows Movie Maker (bundled with Windows)?

    Not a bad idea at all. Or you could try a program called Gordian knot.
