Well guys. My parents bought me a black MacBook for Christmas in an o2 store. From looking at the box I think it still has tiger OSx on it and still only 1gb ram . They are not really up to speed with computer related things. Didn't open the box so they should change it for me or give me the money back so i can buy it online right ??
    Thanks in advance

The O2 stores were giving a free upgrade to Leopard. Contact the store it was bought it and they should be able to sort that out. The ram sound's unusual, what's the model number on the box- it should start ma or mb and have three number after it.

why's the ram unusual? they come with 1gb? :s

i doubt the shop will do much for you in the way of exchanging the macbook, you'll possibly get a copy of leopard if your macbook was bought from october onwards.

if you want more RAM buy it from crucial and install it yourself, it's the easiest thing to do and there have been plenty of threads on how to do it, including one written by me :D
