PC world are advertising a big sale in the UK stores starting the 26th so keep an eye on them.
Dunnes had a DEG brand 32" instore yesterday for e560 and a 37" sony bravia for e999

There's 100 euro off that Sony Bravia in Dunnes today so 899 is not bad at all!

I did see a newspaper today (sorry forget which) that had Power City, Currys and PC World adverts for the 27th. Some very nice offers like the Samsung LE40M86 for €1099

I took an early trip out this moening and got an LG 32LC46 in currys for E599.There's no powercity near me so i couldnt consider that philips one there. The LG is excellent anyway-Sky sd looks like HD and Xbox 360 looks unbelievable.I connected the 360 through HDMI and it went right in at 1080p automatically. Not sure if this is any better than 720p but its amazing.Definately worth getting up at 6:30am for!!!!

Its not a full hd set, but it takes a 1080p input. Confusing I know, dunno how it works exactly.

People seem to recommend panasonic's and sony's lcds as the best for watching standard definition.Toshiba also seem to be decent
