PSP Fanboy are reporting that a regular contributor to their has just uploaded a new video, highlighting all the features of the Japanese version of firmware 3.80.

While the rest of the world must be satisfied with internet radio, the Japanese get the very cool ability to record shows from their 1seg tuner. Yes, the PSP is a DVR machine in Japan.

Last week PSP sales doubled to record high numbers and since only 3 games for the PSP are currently in the countries top 50 one can only imagine this had something to do with it.
