Looking for joystick recommendations for use with FSX Deluxe
The pilot will be a 12 year old rookie.

Was thinking of something like this?

the joystick you linked is about the very best you can get at the under 200€ price range. Have one myself and its awesome.

I have that joystick, and it is an excellent choice for the price. You can get better (i.e. http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.aspx?sku=107928), but only if your really serious about your flight sims.

Well, I got the Saitek http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.aspx?sku=301765 & it was a breeze to install & setup. I was also pleased with its sensitivity considering it's wireless. Overall I would highly recommend it.

Picked it up in PC World on Christmas Eve morning (As it was way too late to go the Komplett route). Was surprised at the price difference too! Komplett were €60 + €12 postage, €72 total. PC World were €79, not bad for a short notice purchase.

The 12 year old rookie is really delighted with it, the only problem now is that it has taking till now to get my PC back

Thanks to all who posted :)
