I'm going home to Wexford tomorrow for the "holiday season" and might take some time out to look around the showrooms see if there's anything that catches my eye. Since I'll be a long way from home, what do I need to bring with me if I was to trade in my current motor?

If you were to do it there and then, and assuming there's no finance outstanding I think all you'd need is your registration certificate.
