Passport Renewal URGENT

Okay. I feel like such a tool. I used search -- but honestly; I've been in tears for the last hour or so forgive me.

Alright, basically -- I'm 16, I need to renew my passport for Thursday evening. I have a flight; I'll be travelling to Belgium to see my girlfriend and my passport expired sometime in 2006. I have no AGE I.D. card or any alternative like that as far as I am aware. So, basically; can I urgently renew my passport tomorrow on urgent basis (not sure if they're shut for Christmas Eve), or what? If so, how would I go about it?

I really need this, thanks. And Happy Christmas.

    Their contact webpage is
    http://foreignaffairs.gov.ie/home/index.aspx?id=401

    In it we see :

    Emergency Service

Out of hours emergency service tel. +353 1 478 0822

oh and they are open tomorrow but like most in Ireland on Xmas Eve ... don't expect a lot after 1300.

Do you have the forms done/signed by parents? Could get sticky otherwise.

Nope. I thought I just get the forms at the passport office? Or am I required to get them beforehand?

And thanks, yeah I'll print out my flight tickets.

Since you're under 18 you might need parents about. At least, on the application form both parents are required to sign in front of a witness.

Both parents? I thought you only needed one. Shouldn't be too much of a bother anyway.

It's both AFAIK unless one has sworn an affidavit that they are sole guardian (happened to me when I was 16 getting my passport).

    Best of luck though :)
