PS3 Problem - HELP!!

    Hey Guys,
    I had my PS3 set up on a flat screen with the HDMI but I brought it up with me for christmas and am trying to set it up with the Scart for AV but nothings coming up on the screen. Could anyone tell me is this something to do with it being set to HD or would yee reckon the PS3 is just fecked?

    You need to reset the settings and get it to use the av multi connection.

    Connect the av cable up as usual and then press and hold the power button for about 10-20 seconds. That should reset the display settings and allow you to choose the av multi out.

    Aha - this caught me out for a few mins. After moving the ps3 to a non hdmi connection after it being connected via hdmi, you need to hold down the power button for 5 seconds until you get a beep (or two maybe?) Then the ps3 will reset to default non-hd resolution, and you'll be laughing...

    Thank god for this thread this was giving me so much problems..
    pain in the ass that u cant save internet connections aswell..have to keep on entering in wep keys when i move the playstation around..

    I'M LAUGHIN! Thanks alot guys! you saved my christmas..I'd send ya money but I know the joy of helping someone is reward enough :P This should be a sticky! tis like the reset on an ipod, ya have to do some research to realise ya can do it

    Mine still isn't working...****ing pain in the ass...had to move off the hdtv and i got nothing to do now...bs!!!
