    Hi Guys,

    Hi i recently purchased a apple tv player and would like to no if anyone would no how to convert avi file etc into my apple tv thank you.

    I'd recommend getting a hardware encoder (such as the elgato turbo.264 for Macs) if you have an older machine, or lots & lots of avi files.

    Or look into hacking the appleTV.

    I can second K.O.Kiki for the egato. I got one and it at least halves the time taken to convert Avi.s even on a fairly new machine, while leaving the machine relatively unburdoned. The improvement is supposed to be even better for older machines
