Night luas cancelled tonight

I went to get the last Night luas home earlier, waited from about 3.15 until almost 4am on Charlemont bridge for it, and no luas came despite the sign saying the last one leaves Stephens Green at 03.30

It never showed up. Lots of people started walking up the lines and told the people at our stop that the luas had broken down/derailed before Harcourt.

Now why couldn't Veolia have put an announcement on at every stop letting people know about this instead of having us stand in the bitter cold?! As a woman there on my own tonight I felt very vulnerable and ended up having to walk 2 miles home.

That's ridiculous and downright unacceptable. Maybe the eejit in control didn't know how to use the public address?

Maybe. I'm going to complain to them in writing about it. Totally not on, while I was standing there waiting, two luas' had gone into town, so they could have easily sent one up on the other line toward Sandyford.

they have a keyboard they could have used toput it up at the stations display boards.

they also have a PA that they could have made an announcement at all stations

they have CCTV that can see you all
