Flipz, could they land you in trouble?

When a few of us were doing flipz a few days ago, some(not all )of the regulars got the hump, accusations of playing together and cheating were rife. Which was kinda funny as if I was going to cheat it wouldn't be by shoving all my chips in each hand no matter what I had and playing in a .02/.04 plo game :D.

Anyways I'm sure 1 or 2 of the smarter ones must have copped on what we were actually doing, and that it was far from financially EV+ for us, in fact it was much more so for them, though of course a far scarier game for them too, but still for most of them they just saw us doing crazy stuff and thought we were up to something.

Not that I plan on doing flipz anytime soon, losing 60 buy-ins even in micro stakes is too much :( but we had a few threats that thery were going to complain about us cheating, is there any danger that some poker admin might somehow misinterpret what we were doing and we could get banned or something similare for doing this?

I doubt this could be construed as cheating on any level tbh. You should rile them up more just to see what will happen and then let us all know :)

The last time I did this and lost 20 BI's in 40 mins I thought my PT stats at least were funny.

In all seriousness I can never see us getting banned for doing it in the circumstances it was done in.

If we were doing it in $0.50/$1 and upwards I can see it being treated differently, as it's larger amounts of money and people doing in it in these stakes can often be interpreted as some type of collusion or chip dumping.

...but I can't imagine a site contacting us because 5 players+ at anyone time were throwing in $5 and gambling in PLO at $0.02/$0.04 stakes especially.

You've nothing to worry about LL or none of us do for that fact.

it was funny though, the same lads waiting and waiting till they got a premium hand and us busting them with Q274 or something :)

I can't imagine anyone at iPoker taking a complaint about this seriously. I'm sure they know what goes on and probably have heard of it before. Certainly if they did, Mike and GJP would set them straight toute-suite. :)

ps: I love it when the nits sit and sit for a big hand in Omaha and then get crushed by the rest of us. Its even funnier when they win a pot and scurry off with their $8.57. Maybe they have kids to feed, who knows.

Have to agree with you DeVore it's pure comedy when they do a hit 'n' run at these stakes. I wonder do they boast to their mates - you would have seen the table full of maniacs I played with today.

8 all-ins at once  etc.

lol, yeah he did well out of it, at least he was game to take some risks, so fair play to him I suppose. We probably increased his bankroll tenfold :D.

Hopefully some of these guys buddylist some of us and come chasing after us in our regular game, could be viewed as an investment if that was the case :D
