Cheap Classics or Touches?

Anyone have an idea where I can get the cheapest iPod Classic or iPod Touch? Komplett are ok but I was wondering if there are lower prices. Are there shortages this time of year.

Any advantages to the Touch btw? Besides the touchscreen and HDD size? I think the HDD size of the classic will swing it for me but just to be sure.

    Thanks

Well all Apple products are fixed at the same price regardless of retailer so you won't find any store selling iPods cheaper than anyone else unless it ebay.

Ah I see. Any idea if Apple lowers prices for the sales? I'd love the Touch if it just had a bit more memory!

Appearently the iTouch is Flash-drive only and Apple have no plans to upgrade it to a larger hard-drive device. And going on past activity with Apple I doubt they'll reduce prices in their main product range unless they're bringing out an updated product.

Best way is to pay with dollars since the exchange rate is so good at the moment. iPod Touches were the equivilent of 300euro for the 16gig when I was in NY in November. That's a saving of 100e and the dollar has gotten weaker since.

Good suggestion but add P&P and it's expensive again unless you actually buy it over there.

Apple USA won't ship here or allow you to buy with a non-US credit card. You'd have to find a US retailer who will, or go through a friend, and you'd be liable for customs duty as well as P & P.

I just bought a 16gb touch from a UK business seller for just under 300 euro including shipping. That's 100 less than from Apple. Today is a good day to be bidding on ebay. :D
