I lived there last year for a few months. The place was really badly organised, but i'm told there are new management and that they're alot better. The actual apartments aren't bad though, a ensuite room each and a kitchen. No washer/dryer in the apartments but there's a laundrette in the complex.

A lot of bikes were stolen from the place last year so security wasn't great.

Walk time to dcu through the shortcuts is about 10-15 minutes which isn't bad. There's an aldi and a 24 hour garage very close by and omni shopping centre is about a 10 minute walk.

How I can get to the hazelwood apartments from the airport? Did you pay 510€/month? Thanks a lot James. Have a nice day!

Get the 16A from the airport. Ask the bus driver to let you off at Santry Avenue. around there you should be near a set of traffic lights beside a few shops. "Spar " is one of them. There is a long road with trees and a big building with a sign that says "Heiton Buckley." on it.Walk down that road for about 5 minutes. You will pass an ALDI store on your left keep walking straight past that.

Hazelwood is in the Northwood complex. which is the first right turn after the ALDI store . Then the apartments are on the first right in the complex. If you reach a big tall building called the days inn hotel you have gone too far!

Yes rent is €510 a month and then there is €20 extra on top of that a month for internet access.

    Hi Alan,

Thank you very much,I will offer a coffee if we meet in DCU. Do you live in hazelwood apartments? Are there many students in these apartments? I'd like to improve my english,so I want an accommodation full of English-people.Is Hazelwood the right place? . If you have other useful information,I'm here.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

yeah there is a good bit of students there. But alot of the people there seem to be people with jobs and that. They don't seem like the are students anyway.

Em In terms of English speaking youare down the Road from DCU.. If you join some of the clubs or societies there you will pick it up in no time....
