    I paid 195 euro for Sky + to be installed in the house today. It was an upgrade from the normal sky box.

    Was this a rip off or standard price?

    I've read much cheaper prices elsewhere.

    I paid 100 for ordinary installation 3 weeks ago and another 50 to "activate the card". Asked the installer your very question, he said that it was the worst time of the year for pricing of Sky. Spends half his year installing systems without collecting from the public at all!

    Existing customers upgrading to Sky+ standalone is E149 for the box and E45 for the installation which = E194. You were done out of a Euro!
