    It not much consolation to the snow lovers here but these ducks will be glad of a thaw I think

    Super pic, I wonder how much cold they feel with those feet. There was a pretty harsh frost here last night but i didn't see anything frozen over.

    I've seen ducks come in to land and bounce off the ice and slide about 20m along the surface. It can be hard times for animals when all drinking water is frozen.

    Reminds me of the book title... "why dont penguins feet freeze"
    Seems to be picking up a bit outside now with the cloud cover ... ducks and me be happy :)
