    Hi

As a total photo-phobe, I was wondering if anyone could explain the difference between 'crop to fit' and 'shrink to fit'. The reason I am asking is that i want to order some prints online and I am not sure which option to choose. The photo size would be 6x4. Which would look better ??

Any advice would be appreciated thanks

crop to fit, you will loose parts of the pic
shrink to fit, you will have some sort of white border

...it should give you a preview of how it looks

as to which looks better, that's a matter of personal choice and the photo involved. if you went for crop to fit, it could crop out an important element of the photo.

Shrinking resizes the dimensions of the photo, so the whole image is smaller than the original, but retains the whole image. Cropping can resize the dimensions too, but when you crop you actually cut part of the edges of the image away to resize it.
